Fall 2026 Interns

Meet School the World's 2026 Fall Interns

School the World has the honor of announcing five new Fall 2026 interns. This group brings passion, innovative ideas, and fresh perspectives to the table. These students are working diligently not only to build and expand their individual skill sets across several teams and projects, but to further the mission of School the World by continuing to enhance the quality of education and make it more accessible to those in extreme poverty.

This year, we have the pleasure of welcoming our five distinguished interns whose varying backgrounds help further the mission of School the World and make a meaningful impact on our work in Honduras, Guatemala, and Panama, with our work now extending to the Philippines!

Sarina Donadio

Sarina is studying Psychology & Sociology in her last semester at Suffolk University. One of her favorite spots in Boston is Slush King, a local ice cream shop in East Boston. Sarina loves supporting local businesses and being involved in her community. School the World’s mission immediately resonated with Sarina because of her belief that every child deserves access to quality education. She values her education immensely, and she believes education should be accessible to all. At School the World, she assists with a wide range of projects, from developing pamphlets & flyers to data organization. Her work helps build her skill set in various areas while allowing her to create positive and meaningful change in the world.

Jack Sheehan

Jack’s interest in nonprofit work began long before he joined School the World. His favorite spot to visit in Boston is the Charles River Esplanade, a scenic park maintained by a nonprofit. Jack currently attends Boston University, majoring in International Relations & Classical Civilization in his junior year. At School the World, Jack is involved with many teams, including  Finance, Marketing, and Fundraising, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to numerous exciting projects. His primary goal at School the World is to expand his knowledge in nonprofit operations while making meaningful contributions to a mission he truly believes in. Through his work, Jack is gaining valuable insights into nonprofit operations, and he is seeing how each staff member plays a part in making School the World’s mission a reality.

Nina Mayer

Nina brings a unique perspective to her internship at School the World through her passion for exploring different cultures and a strong technical background. Nina is a third-year student at Northeastern University, currently studying Data Sciences and Environment & Sustainability Sciences. Harvard Avenue in Allston is one of Nina’s favorite spots to visit in Boston. She specifically loves the culture, food, and thrift finds in the area. This Fall, Nina is supporting the Monitoring & Evaluation team at School the World. Her role includes using her technical skills to help clean and link data. Putting her technical skills towards a cause that makes a meaningful impact has been incredibly fulfilling for her. Her work aligns with her goal of being able to make a difference doing something she loves while also gaining a deeper understanding of the communities School the World serves.

Noah Cummings

Noah is a student at Boston University, majoring in Accounting as he begins his sophomore year. When he’s not in class, Noah enjoys grabbing a bite at Felipe’s Taqueria, a family-owned spot serving authentic Mexican food. He appreciates the thought and care behind every dish and brings that same enthusiasm and attention to detail to his work at School the World. Noah works primarily with the Grants & Donor Relations teams, helping strengthen partnerships and fuel School the World’s mission to make a lasting impact. His role offers firsthand insight into how nonprofit organizations build partnerships and support their missions.

Bryanna Delgado Melendez

Bryanna’s fascination with companies with international locations spans far beyond School the World. When Bryanna needs a recharge, you will find them at Jaho Coffee, a coffee shop with locations in Boston and Tokyo. Bryanna is a senior at Suffolk University, majoring in Media & Film and minoring in Public Relations. At School the World, they work on the Communications and Marketing teams by editing videos for the School the World YouTube page. Some of their work includes videos titled “Back to School with María” and “Teacher Training in Guatemala.”Through digital storytelling, Bryanna is strengthening their creative skills while helping make School the World’s mission accessible to a wider audience.

Interns Fuel Our Growth

As School the World continues to grow, we are excited to welcome this talented group of interns whose diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives strengthen our team. From data analysis and creative storytelling to fundraising and administrative support, each intern brings unique strengths that help advance our mission. Their dedication and enthusiasm reflect a shared commitment to expanding access to quality education and creating opportunities for children around the world.

We are delighted to see how these five interns continue to not only make meaningful contributions to our work, but also to see them grow in a professional manner. As School the World expands its reach across Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, and the Philippines, their efforts will help further our mission of disrupting the cycle of extreme poverty through the power of quality education. We look forward to all that this team will accomplish together!
